Cross Country Teams Open 2022 Season at Gingerbread Jamboree

Aubrey High School kicked off the cross country season at the Gingerbread Jamboree, hosted by Denton Ryan, on Thursday morning. Our varsity boys team finished in 2nd place with Aubrey taking the top three spots, and Maria Maldonado and Abby Turner medaled on the girls side. The JV Girls finished in 11th place out of 17 teams.

"It was a great effort to start the season and we look forward to the next race on Saturday, September 3rd at the Marcus Invitational at North Lakes Park in Denton," said Coach Giddens.

Brayden Murphy (1), Logan Parker(2), Gage Owen(3) took the top 3 spots. Cole Govea placed 13th and Jack Ward was 37th.

Maria Maldonado placed 6th in the girls run, and Abby Turner was 12th.
