Keith Ivy is returning for his 8th year at Aubrey High School. It is his 11th year as an AD/Head Football Coach after spending the previous three years at Seymour and Electra. Overall this is his 25th year in coaching.In 2020, Coach Ivy led Aubrey to one of their best seasons in school history. Aubrey posted an 11-2 season, winning the district championship and advancing to the region semifinals. The Aubrey coaching staff was named the district 4-4A staff of the year. Under Coach Ivy, the football team has advanced to the playoffs for six straight years and won six bi-district championships. Coach Ivy has coached in Sanger, Allen, Gainesville, Cleburne, Electra and Seymour. His coaching accomplishments include one football state championship, a football state runner-up title and two state powerlifting championships.He was voted District Coach of the Year twice, won back-to back undefeated District Championships (1st time in school history),was the Head Coach in the 2013 Oil Bowl All-Star Game, and won the Bi-District Championship with the Chaparrals 2015 – 2017 & 2019. He was named Denton Area Coach of the Year in 2016 and 2017.Coach Ivy graduated from Sanger High School and the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and minor in health.
