The Aubrey softball team defeated Celina, 3-1, in the first game of a three-game series in the region quarterfinals.

Game two will be Thursday, May 12 at 6 p.m. in Celina.

Mya Cherry picked up the win in the circle, holding Celina to one run off six hits. Keeli Fuller knocked in two runs.
