Chaps Defeat Van Alstyne, 4-1

The Aubrey baseball team improved to 2-0 in district on Friday, March 18 after defeating the Van Alstyne Panthers, 4-1.
The Chaps are now 12-4-1 and 2-0 in district play.
Wade Huckaby got the win on the mound for the Chaps throwing a complete game, allowing 2 hits and no earned runs and striking out 7 hitters. Jacob Holder hit his second home run of the season, along with a double and collected 3 RBI.
