Baseball Opens Season with Two Wins at CFB ISD Tournament

The Aubrey baseball team opened its 2022 season with two wins at the CFB ISD Tournament on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 25 and Feb. 26. 

The Chaparrals are 2-1-1 after four games in the opening weekend. After a loss and a tie, Aubrey rebounded with wins against Irving Nimitz (8-1) and Newman Smith (11-2) on Saturday. 

Blayne Polen and Bryson Bohannon picked up wins on the mound. Jacob Holder knocked in three runs in the two wins.
