Lady Chaps Clinch Playoff Spot with Win Against Anna

The Aubrey girls basketball team clinched the 2nd seed out of the district with a 58-25 win over Anna on Tuesday, Feb. 7.
This is the sixth straight year for the Lady Chaps to make the playoffs.
"I was really proud of the way the girls came out ready to play tonight after the break due to the weather," Aubrey coach Ron Gathright said. "It was also a great night for our seniors as we honored them tonight after the game. It has been a great four years for our program with this group of seniors."
June Chatterley led the team with 19 points, and Meagan Szostek followed with 11.
