Beaty Scores 13 in Win Against Celina

Audrey Beaty scored 13 points to lead the Aubrey girls basketball team to a 35-21 win against Celina on Tuesday, Jan. 18. 

The Aubrey Lady Chaps improved to 11-11 overall and 5-2 in district.

"I was very proud of our defensive effort tonight," Aubrey coach Ron Gathright said. "That was probably the best game that we have played all year on defense.  We were able to hold Celina to 0 points in the fourth quarter and that was big for us.

Beaty led the scoring with 13 points, and June Chatterley followed with seven.
