Lady Chaps Win Second District Game Against Gainesville

The Aubrey girls basketball team improved to 2-0 in district with a 69-19 victory over Gainesville on Friday, Dec. 18. 

"I was really impressed with the way we played offensively tonight," Aubrey coach Ron Gathright said. "I feel like we are getting better on that end of the floor, especially the last three games. We continue to do a great job on the defensive end of the floor.  Gracie and June did a great job tonight of defending their best player."

Audrey Beaty and Lexie Temple led the team with 11 points each.
