Girls Basketball Drops District Game to Sanger

The Aubrey girls basketball team dropped its first district game, falling 32-18 to Sanger on Tuesday, Dec. 21. 

The Lady Chaps are now 8-9 overall and 2-1 in district. 

"It was another great performance on the defensive end of the floor but we really struggled to make shots," Aubrey coach Ron Gathright said. "We were much better being patient on the offensive end but we could not put the ball in the basket."

June Chatterley led the team with seven points, and Lexie Temple followed with four.
