Chatterley and Beaty Sign NLIs at Fall Signing Ceremony

Four Aubrey High School student-athletes signed letters of intent on Wednesday, Nov. 10 at a fall signing day ceremony in the Aubrey High School gymnasium. Audrey Beaty (Emporia State, basketball), June Chatterley (U.S. Military Academy at West Point, basketball), Lexie Temple (Houston Baptist, volleyball) and Jaden Wheeler (Coastal Alabama CC, softball) will all continue their athletic careers at college next fall.

Audrey signed a letter of intent to attend and play basketball at Emporia State in Emporia, Kan. next fall. She has played the last three years on the AHS varsity basketball team. She received second-team all-district honors as a junior after averaging 10.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Audrey was named to the district all-defense team as a sophomore as well as the academic all-district team after helping her team advance to the regional quarterfinals. 

June will head to West Point, N.Y. next fall to attend the U.S. Military Academy Prep School before continuing on to play basketball for Army West Point the following year. June played on the varsity basketball team for the last two years and was named second-team all-district as a junior after averaging 11.6 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. As a sophomore, she was part of a team that advanced to the regional quarterfinals. She was named academic all-district as a sophomore and junior.
